That usually works pretty well finding the cheapest gas in your area.

Yes, I agree. I saw $3.66 just before lunch. shocked
By the time my mind processed it, I had already passed the gas station. frown

We finally dropped $.04 from the $.20 hike last week (now $3.65). There was a survey in the paper on Sunday about gas prices in the local counties. We were the highest by far - some as much as $.10 per gallon. It's ridiculous!

WOW! .04 cents, we dropped .02. Now 3.68. Paper ran article claiming gas prices were 3.50 in the area based on AAA survey. The online version and the opinion page advised the paper to drive around and see. Everyone was 3.70 except on, it was 3.95. (Its the only station on the west side and it is outside the vocational school, so the kids put the bill on their parents).

NEW YORK — The price of oil is hitting new lows for the year as U.S. supplies grow.

Benchmark crude on Wednesday lost $1.23 to $90.62 in New York. It fell as low as $90.18 earlier in the day. Prices haven't been below the $90 mark since Nov. 1.

Prices dipped after the U.S. said oil supplies grew last week to the highest level since 1990.

And Yet, prices at our pumps rose again today mad Where's the congressional outcry? I think we need to sick the CFPB after them!!

We passed a gas station last night where it was $3.49. Decided to fill up on the way home and it was up to $3.63. Starting the holiday weekend early I guess. As we keep saying if we are dumb enough to pay for it I guess it will stay high.

^^^^^^ That's the problem, we get used to high prices and we're grateful for any relief even though the price is way higher than it was a short time ago.
