My 18 year old sister is going this afternoon to get her first tattoo. she's having a hard time deciding where to put it because she has Tourettes, and some of her muscles spasm and tic CONSTANTLY, and she doesn't want her tics to cause his lines to be uneven. I think it's going to end up on her leg, cause her back just tics to much.

She's Getting a Star Of David, A 4leaf clover, and an infinity sign. Her favorite saying is "with a little faith and a little luck, life has infinite possibilities. " but she didn't want the whole phrase on her. We'll see.

I'd call it a cluster of one. Like my newest one, it has 3 separate parts, but it's all one tattoo.

lol- exactly. They are going in a vertical line, so i would consider it one tattoo with multiple parts.

Interesting...I pictured it as a circular pattern! That whole 'infinity' thing!

and I pictured the star and clover inside the loops of the infinity. Guess that's what interpretation will do for you!

Okay...so how did it turn out???

Actually pretty good. She ended up getting them along her hipbone, following the curve, so not straight up vertically, and a little bigger then i thought. (i was thinking each one the size a quarter, they ended up being a little bigger then a half dollar)

Her Tourettes did cause small problems but he had done people with Tourettes before, so they got it figured out. She will have to go back - he wants to clean up some of the lines, but she was already swelling and was having a hard time holding still anymore, so he told her to come back in a month after it heals more, and he'd fix it.

Cool! So long as she is happy...that's what matters...touchups aren't uncommon under the BEST of circumstances!

One of my step son's friends is a very talented artist and I have him working on my next work. As many of you know, my husband passed away just before Thanksgiving and it is a "family piece" showing how we are all bonded to him and each other. It will be individual puzzle pieces with my step children, daughter and my initials on each piece. They will create a puzzle by connecting to his initials that will be reverse white on black. Each of our initials will be black on a color they choose to represent them.

My brother and his girlfriend tattooed a TON while on vacation in Iowa, and I got to see some of the work being done and the finished products. A. MAY. ZING.

I am considering getting something small done next time I see them, but I don't really know for sure what I'll commit to. I am thinking of getting the map symbol for cycling on my right calf. Either that or an actual tattoo of a chain ring grease "tattoo" on the inside of my right calf. We'll see.
