Under Reg DD, would the fee for taking a Canadian check for deposit be considered a "fee for special services" and therefore need to be listed on the Schedule of Fees? Or can it be considered an "incidental fee" and not have to be listed?
I think I already know the answer, but my brain is dead tired from looking at 1000+ pages of proposed rules from the CFPB.
Thanks!

It would need to be listed. Most banks, if they accept Canadian checks at all, take them as collection items which would by-pass Reg DD consideration.
