We are making a correction to Part II Box 30 regarding a previously filed legacy SAR. Do I need to repeat the entire oringinal narrative in Part V of my correction filing or can I limit to explaining only the correction?

Top of the world... and never ...
I generally treat an amended or corrected SAR as a complete filing of the original SAR. So when I correct or amend I repeat the narrative, but you can copy paste... That may just be me though.

My view is that the corrected SAR should be a one stop shop for LE with the most accurate information.

Cheers!

FinCEN directed last Halloween (see THIS DOCUMENT) that correction filings must be completed in full.
