Does anyone offer an IDA at their institution? If so, how did you get started offering the program? For instance, how do you find the sponsor? Or does your institution provide the match and run the program? I can't seem to find much information on this program from the institution's side.

My bank is looking for some CRA CD credit in an area that has very little, if any, opportunities.

I appreciate any help you can offer.

The nonprofit getting the AFI grant usually comes to you. They act as the trustee and custodian of the sub-accounts.

If it is not an AFI grant arrangement, the nonprofit wishing to offer the IDA looks for a bank.

I guess you could go out looking for a nonprofit partner, but your bank would not want to be in a position of funding all the costs and match.

This is the one in our area. Perhaps you can contact one of the banks listed for more information. http://www.ahphome.org/cdida.htm
