After the last book and reading a few reviews, I'm waiting until that one hits paperback price.

Forged in Fire by Trisk McCallan. It's one of the under $3 Kindle Books, but I am liking it and would recommend it. Para-romance category. I like it enough that I will probably see what else she had out there.

Notorious Nineteen was OK. At least Stephanie wasn't quite as helpless as she was in the last book. But yeah, wait until you can get a good deal, or borrow it from someone.

COLD DAYS comes out tomorrow!!! My copy is in the mail from Amazon.

Check out the Elemental Mysteries series by Elizabeth Hunter. The first one, A Hidden Fire, is probably still on the freebies list. smile

I was going to try to save it for my birthday. But who am I kidding, as soon as it hits the doorstep I will undoubtedly crack it open.

I've made it a point to NOT be in the middle of reading anything I will be unhappy to interrupt. Steampunk, while fun sometimes, is not getting in the way of Harry. wink

I know, I'm having a dilema today. I have a book on my Kindle I want to read but not sure I can finish it in one night. Might have to look for a novella or something. Or maybe just watch TV. laugh

I hate it when you start reading a book (I've got a Kindle Fire) and you notice that there is WAY too much plot left for the amount of pages that remain. Then you find out it's part of a series! I've got 4 different book series I'm reading right now and the last book in each doesn't come out until next year. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I was FIRST, bay-beeee. ::spikes box::

Now I'm stalking the mailman for my book. Or maybe it's the UPS driver, I don't know which way it will arrive. I'd better pack a lunch.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
I re-read "Breaking Dawn" after I saw the movie. Loved what they did in that movie Part II.

Reading "Fox's Book of Martyrs". I heard about it most of my life and found a copy at the Library book sale. It was right up there with the Bible for the Pilgrims who settled this country. I'm beginning to understand their perspective on things as I read this. Hard to get thru.

Finished Ken Follett's "Winter of the World" and "Fall of Giants" before I realized the last book in the trilogy has yet to be published. Wonder how long I will wait for that! Great historicalized fiction; it gave a truly human perspecitve to some of the "big picture" things I read about WW I & II.

I'm at 37% of "Anti-Cancer: A New Way of Life." It would not be on my reading list except for the circumstances of my closest friend. For those in similar straits or who have concerns about this disease, it is empowering.

P.S. I bought the "new" Kindle and cannot really say it is in any way an improvement on the reader. The justification will have come from watching videos and playing games, but I do not use it for either of those things.

Well, Ken, since "Winter of the World" just came out this year, I think we have to wait for a year or longer for the final book. I really enjoyed those two books.

Ken and Waldensouth - I enjoyed those too! I believe I heard the third book will be out in 1st qtr 2014.

If you haven't read them already, you might enjoy his "Pillars of the Earth" and "World Without End."

I read a little bit of Cold Days last night but my eyes kept slamming shut so I called it a night. I have cleared my calendar for tonight though!
