I see that you have moved on to another Julia book. . .what did you think of this one? I thought the reviews of Dearie sounded interesting, but I haven't bought it yet. Sometimes biographies don't hold my interest.

She led a most fascinating life. Well worth the read, IMHO.

I started reading Game of Thrones while on vacation. I made it through the first book and I have started on the second book while waiting for my flight home yesterday. I wish my vacation wasn't over so I had more time to read!

Oooooh, I can't wait to hear what you think of the GOT series overall. Somewhere there is a GOT thread (with spoilers, so if you don't want to know what is coming in the last book, don't look for it yet.) You should post in there when you are done.

Are you watching the HBO series as well?

I haven't watched it yet but my goal is to get through the first couple of books and then get the series of amazon. So far I really like the books.

Love the Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night...very very good books. I can already tell that I will re-read them at some time! Nice to have a vampire/witch characters for a more mature audience.

I am 60ish % thru the Shadow of Night. I had trouble getting thru this second book but was told to keep going and I did since I loved the first (Discover of Witches) so much. Well, I became absorbed about 43% thru the book where you don't want to put it down. I know that I will go on to read book three when it comes out.

Percentages = Kindle equivilant to pages. laugh

The second in the Nora Roberts Inn trilogy. I like it. Little fluffy, but it's good for this busy week.

I'm reading another Jen Lancaster book. She cracks me UP!

Just finished Downpour by Kat Richardson. Excellent read. Much better ghost story to this one than the last couple in the series.
