Is there any way that a Bank access MLS in Florida? We were told we need this service to perform in-house evaluations. Is there a business access for MLS in Florida? MM

I've always been told that only real estate agencies/brokers have access to non-public information within MLS databases. What type of information are you seeking that's not available to the public on MLS?

The problem with MLS is that listings are either detailed or lack detail, depending on the agent's effort (or lack of) when listing the property on MLS.

We use the county's property appraiser's public website to get information on a subject property and any local comps to complete our in-house valuations. We can get information on date & amount of sales, whether it was a bank sale, the size of the house, the size of the yard, number of baths & bedrooms, age of the house, etc.
