We have an employee who had $9000 deposited into their AT&T account, he did not send AT&T the check so he has a $9000 credit on his account, he has told them that it is not his and AT&T wants to send him a check for it. This has been over a year ago and he does not know what to do? Any suggestions?

o.O

Wow. Clearly since the money isn't his he shouldn't accept the check, but he obviously needs to talk to someone higher up in AT&T's billing department. This just doesn't sound right.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
Wonder if he had a good samaritan pay that on his behalf for some reason? Otherwise, If AT&T won't see the error of their ways (after speaking with management) and insist on giving him a check for $9000, I'd put it in a CD with the interest sweeping to my DDA each month until they suddenly wake up and figure out where it came from and want it back.
