My bank ended consumer lending in the end of 2010, we now only do commercial loans. We have employees requesting loans is there any way we can offer consumer loans to employees only without having "Fair Lending" issues? I've been asked if there if anyway we could consider consumer lending to employees as some sort of benefit for working for the bank, without having to reinstate consumer lending to customers as well. Thanks for any input.

I see no Fair Lending Issue with having an employee-only 'benefit' program.
