If she gets overly concerned, offer to waive or refund the fee for this month. Or, since there's not likely to be much activity in the account until the estate rep is appointed, why not offer to simply waive the fee, period? It won't cost your bank much and will eliminate one of those things that can inexplicably bug the heck out of a surviving family member. You'll maybe cement a positive relationship for the bank in the future.
