The day I made VP, (something like) the following cartoon actually appeared in the newspaper.
Man comes home and tells wife he made VP at the bank and she says something to the effect that VPs at banks and grocery stores are so common that it is no big deal.
He is incredulous and challenges her statement. She then tells him to call the grocery store and ask for the VP in charge of apricots.
He does, and the voice on the other end of the line asks-
Canned, dried or fresh?
So much for my ego that day. I hope your day was better. I know the recognition is well deserved and long coming.
