I am not thinking straigt today. When you lock a rate and re-issue the GFE, what date would be reflected in section 1 of GFE available through date?

Our policy is to not advance the date with subsequent re-issues as long as the original consent has been given.

If a rate lock agreement is executed then Line 1 must show the date the rate is good through. This is specifically addressed in the 4/2/10 RESPA FAQs on page 23.

However, since we are speaking to the entire section, if you are referring to line 2, it will remain the same as what you reflected on your first GFE.

Good catch RRJ. The title says Line 1 but then the question references "section 1".
