Is anyone willing to share what teller system you use? I would also like to know what core processor you use as well. We are a small community bank and still use the teller sharp machines (I know...don't laugh). Our core processor is fiserv. We are at a point where we need to look at getting a new teller system and were hoping to get some feedback on what other banks are using, does it integrate with your core processor, and do you like it. Would appreciate any input or feedback on this topic. Thanks!!!

I am going back in time to the days when the S&L for which I worked decided to go "in house" with a computer system [Burroughs hardware] and the software package which we adopted was called at that time MISER [for Modular Information Systems],with their latest name, as far as I know, New Trend. New Trend was a very sophisticated package for its time and they seemed to be very intent on keeping current, so I would recommend following up to see what they have to offer. Their home base is in Orlando FL. While I undertand that you really want information about user's current systems, New Trend impressed me greatly at the time and on the basis of the commitment to excellence which they exemplified, I feel that they are worthy of consideration. The preceding said, it is worth taking time to look at several options.

We use the Jack Henry and Associates system. Their core system is Silverlake and from their our teller system branches out, which is called Vertex. Their whole system is great to work with and our employees love it. The support that you get from them is also great. You should look into it. They are just coming out with Xperience, which is a completely browser based system. It looks just like the internet would, with tabs and very user friendly. We did a demo of it and can't wait to use it!

We are a Fiserv bank and we use Harland's EZ Teller product. It is great. We've been using it for 10+ years and wouldn't change for anything - we all love it.

We recently converted to Harland's Sparak core processor and use their EZ Teller product. Although we had the traditional 'learning curve' issues, it's been a benefit to us.

Thanks for sharing what teller system you use! I was able to see a demo for EZ Teller from Harland. It was interesting but seemed a little slow and cumbersome, probably just because it is so different from what we are using right now. Thanks again for your thoughts!

Look into Jack Henry Systems. You didn't say what size you are? We use JH 20/20 with Vertex. Good support system.

Can you disable the feature that makes the teller put in cash by denomination? We are afraid this will slow our check cashing branch down. Each teller cashes about 300 checks every Friday.
