OK, I realize this is BOL not IIA, but....I'm working on my training requests for next year. Is there no longer a Financial Services conference for IIA???

There is not!

They discontinued it about 2 or 3 years ago. The year they did I attended the general mangement conference instead and inquired as to why? They said lack of participation compared to other conferences.

Well, now what do I do? It's an odd year and I just assumed I'd hit that one.

I would inquire, but I've had enough trouble just trying to get into a chapter that's a closer drive for me.

Any reviews of the other IIA conferences? I'm strictly banking and financial services....nothing international, no gaming. Any other organizations to suggest? I'm gonna get googling.

The All Star is worthwhile.

While not industry specific, it's the "best of the best" from the other conferences.

MIS Training Institute has been running a 2-day (4 days if you register for optional workshops)Bank Audit conference in Chicago for the past couple of years and plans on doing again in 2013. Last year it was in June- I don't think the date has been set yet for 2013, but here is the website:
