Compliance Officer and I are tossing aroung a GFE on the Calculator on BOL Tools. Needing some help.

We issued GFE with unlocked rate on 12/05/2012. Customers locked for 45 days as of 12/10/2012. We re-disclosed the GFE on 12/11/2012.

Can't get our dates to match our calendar. Looks like the calendar will always pull from the redisclosure date rather than the lock date. Makes it look like our lock period is not disclosing correctly.

We are calculating from the rate lock date, not the GFE reissue date, correct?

Thanks for help!

If the customer locked on 12/10 and you re-issued on 12/11, what do you need a calendar for?

Our processing staff is supposed to utilize the calendar to re-check their work. (We've had issues in the past with the GFE important dates.)

Just not sure which is correct....we both would have counted the lock days from the date the lock was done not the date the GFE was re-issued. But, to tell the truth, I would have audited with the BOL calendar. It's just easier! smile

You have three days to re-issue after the date the customer locks a loan.
