Ugh. No, definately won't be the same.

I love this show. The judges are really what makes it, so not sure how it will be with Shakira and Usher. We'll see I guess. Christina has been pretty bearable this season so far. She hasn't shown her mean diva side .... yet.

I love Adam and Blake though and I'm glad they will be back.

The top 10 performed last night and all did very well, but Cassadee Pope was my favorite. She definitely got to the heart strings of Blake and much of America. Trevin changed it up and as Adam said, "He could sing the phone book". Not sure who will go home tonight.

Also, Blake and Christina's song together was very, very good.

I don't get to watch much but caught last night and it was AWESOME.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED last night show - my favorites are Nicholas, Trevin, Cassadee, Amanda and maybe Dez. Melanie is cute and has a unique voice but I just don't like her two toned hair, especially with she pulls it up like Wilma Flintstone. The others are not that memorable for me - Sylvia can sing but again, too generic.

I hope people don't assume the good ones are safe and that they vote.

I love Cassidy! One of her old band members is an assistance track coach for my son's hs team. It's my understanding that she is a great person.
I like Brian Keith. I washoping Melanie was eliminated. I just don't see , or hear, anything phenomenal from her. Eh.
Trevin's song choice made him generic. I think he can sing so much better than he did with Usher's song!

Love the top four. Trevin or Cassadee should win, but any of the four could end up on top.

I really like Cassadee and Terry. There's something about Nick that weirds me out.

I would have kept Amanda and sent Trevin home. He has a great voice, but if the top 5 all made CDs, his is the one i'd like to listen to least....just too generic for me.

I have watched last year but this year I think the show (and AI)jumped the shark tank.

Loved Cassadee. I thought she was definitely the best.

I was a big fan of Lost and am convinced that Nick was in the Dharma Initative. He was born on the island. He definitely marches to his own drummer.

Trevin reminds me of past American Idol Ruben Studdard. Will he be marketable? Time will tell.

Nick creeps me out for some reason. I was surprised he beat out Amanda. I still think Cassadee is gonna win it all. I was just saying Trevin was too mainstream, then I heard his 2nd song. He belted it out! There are too many like him in the industry, though. I felt the last 6 were all very good, and deserved to be there. Xtina is still a PITA!

Good night last night! Still love Cassadee. All 4 were awesome in my book.

If Trevin gives us any more bubble gum, we'll all be cleaning it out of our hair. I didn't like most of his songs even when they were originals; and he tends to over-sing them. He seems like a great kid, but i'm good with anyone but him winning.

Thought Trevin gave it away last night and he should go home today. My wife and I both thought he was flat the whole song. Both Casadee and Terry killed it, and Nick was good as well.

I'm glad Trevon went home. He has a great voice but nothing stands out or is different about him. I'm not a fan of Terry - while he can sing, there isn't anything unique about him - he bores me. I know Nicholas weirds people out with his look and demeanor but the guy can sing with heart and soul. He's different and has a great backstory (he is all over the news here in MN). I would love for him to win for various reasons 1) he's different, 2) he's got soul 3) he's paid his dues and 4) HE CAN SING! However, I think Cassadee will win - she has an amazing voice but more importantly she has that mainstream popularity look and sound - she's more marketable as an artist - I like her too but I'm still pulling for my man Nicholas!!!

I agree about Nicholas....if the remaining 3 put out CDs tomorrow, Nicholas' is the one i think i'd buy, but all 3 are excellent and worthy of the title.

Don't like Nicholas. Both his look and singing weird me out.

The beginning of the show last night was very touching. All judges performed well despite being visibly moved. Carson didn't know what to do.

On to the performances, Cassadee was clearly the best. She had big notes in both songs. Terry was steady as always. Didn't like Nicholas' first song choice... until he sang it. He was very good and moved around on the stage. He's definitely a Dharma child... or at least grew up in a commune. I'm convinced he found a cache of 1970s clothes that he uses for his wardrobe. He definitely livens up the show.
