Does anyone know if there is a .223 home defense round available?

I think it's .223. I'm no expert though.

thanks, some of those I don't know if I can open from work so I may have to check at home

I did some research but I like I said, I'm no expert and it seemed to be confusing

it's relatively simple when it comes to hand gun ammo though

Hornady makes it in the Zombie rounds, if you are concerned about an appocolypse.

But you really want it for home defense, I would go with the Glazer safety slugs. It is a frangible round that would be a much better choice for home defense.
