We have some pretty good discussions on Bankers' Threads. If you had to go into a debate without knowing the topic, which BOLr or BOLrs would you want on your side?

Now, I assume that since this was posted in the Watercooler that we are not talking banking topics. I think I would choose Ken from Pegasus. (I might also choose him for banking topics.)

It depends on the topic. In banking, John Burnett has always been the one to help me out, but in a general debate, I would take either Paragon or Zaibatsu. Are we picking teams now?

i'd say Ken, Zaibatsu and andy Z. they have good thought out answers and Z could help keep us out of trouble... being a lawyer and all!

Compliance Issues ---- Dan, Andy, Dawnie, Z, (Cub)Dave and David. All of these are so brillant and CubDave could charm pimentos out of olives.

This is an interesting concept to ponder, I have a road trip this PM -- I'm sure I'll think of others.

I think I would want Andy Z on my team no matter what the topic. He seems to have all of the info and also he seems very logical about non-banking issues. I tend to get a little wired so he would be the one to keep my team centered!

Mary Beth...any day...any time. I've never met anyone with that much stored knowledge in my life! How do you remember so much MB? Unless of course the topice was popular music of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s...then Z would be my phone a friend. If the topic was the Chicago Cubbies, I think I would have to call our Big Head friend Dave.

There are just too many to choose from - Andy Z, Dan, John Burnett, Dawnie, ExGovtBabe, etc. I don't think I could choose from this vast pool.

For a hair pulling, mud slinging, all out girl power fight...CubDave, Elena, Maria, Bonnie...I can't choose a favorite. It depends on the fight

I cannot say for certain whom I would want on my side. I can say however that were I to be debating an issue with someone, I would prefer it to be someone such as Andy, Jim, Jac, Ken, Dan, Mary Beth, etc. (You know who you are) because they tend to try to debate issues in a non-confrontational way in order not to hurt or offend those that might not share their opinion. For that reason, I highly respect them and I thank them.
