Where I am supposed to be

Saw Fast & Furious 6 yesterday. Really good action movie. And of course in the credits they set up #7. Still need to see the new Star Trek and am looking forward to The Wolverine, Thor 2, Epic, 2 Guns, Man of Steel ... comic book geek heaven at theaters this year.

We saw Epic yesterday. Epic = Ferngully the Last Rainforest + Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

I saw Star Trek 2 this weekend (by myself )and it was fantastic!!! I was so excited they included in there!! The 3-D effects were also great. (On a side note, when I was getting my ticket, I overheard a grandma and her grandson next to me ordering their tickets. She said "Two tickets to Tron 3 please". The employee looked at her like she was senile! When he told her that there was no Tron 3, she got really upset at her grandson. She was mad because she loved the first 2 Tron's and said that her grandson tricked her into coming to see Iron Man 3 by telling her it was Tron 3. She hates Iron Man! )

did she call him a whippersnapper and beat him over the head with her umbrella? My Grandma would have done that, and then taken me to see a chick-click and make me sit through it, without popcorn.

After seeing Brad Pitt in Killing Them Softly, i'll be skipping World War Z...the "Z" is probably short for "zzzzzzz" which is what his movies make me do...the only exception was where he aged backwards, that was a good movie.

because it is on HBO...i think it is Michael Douglas in the title role...i wonder if they delve into that short period of time where he was an arch-villian on Batman!

LOVED Star Trek. It was much more emotional than I expected, but had plenty of action to balance it out. Benedict Cumberbatch was excellent as were all the main characters. And ::sigh:: ... Chris Pine. Need I say more??

We saw the preview for this in the theater... we figure Z is for Zombie? We were trying to figure out what had 'infected' the majority of the population. comic book geek heaven at theaters this year. YES!!!!

Warm Bodies looks pretty funny....a different take on the subject matter. It was actually pretty funny! That was cute! Star Trek -AMAZING!! ditto Catching Fire City of Bones Man of Steel - Meh - lots of action not much story development/character development Despicable Me 2 -Loved it! Red 2 The Wolverine - what's not to like - saw it a couple of weekends ago. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters Sin City 2 Thor 2 The Hobbitt - want the other two movies in this series out now - a little slow as it was building the base for the other two - loved the dwarves. The Host -I was VERY disappointed with this one. The Maze Runner (2014)

OK, maybe not the best movie... but if you want an amazing laugh, you have to see The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. My husband and I both were laughing so hard, we had tears rolling down our cheeks.

Grown Ups 2. Dumb, dumb movie with no plot but was laughing so hard at one point I couldn't breath.

I have seen the following this summer (we are lucky, we still have a drive-in that charges $8 for 2 first run movies).
Epic Iron Man 3 Star Trek Despicable Me 2 World War Z Man of Steel Smurfs 2
I thought Star Trek was the best of the movies I have seen. I enjoyed World War Z. The action started about 5 minutes into the movie and didn't let up until the end. Despicable Me 2 was the best of the kid movies, Epic and Smurfs II were both pretty bad.
