I saw a commercial for the new City of Bones movie and heard that it was based on a book series. I borrowed the first book in the Mortal Instruments series and am already half-way through it! It's pretty good and since I've seen the trailer, I don't have preconceived notions about what the characters look like. laugh

My daughter started reading those- she got about half way through the 1st book and decided that it might give her nightmares. She was given the whole series though so we'll see.

Gena Showalter's next Angels of the Dark book comes out in February, I preordered that. Then JR Ward's next BDB book comes out in March. THEN the next Lords book (Showalter again--I LOVE how fast she writes!) comes out in July.

Gonna be a steamy year! laugh

I haven't read it since HS and another book I am reading keeps referencing it, I just had to re-read it! Loved the movie, too. smile

There's a new Gatsby movie coming out this summer.

I read it in HS and didn't like it at all. Read it a few years later and liked it much better.

The Sovereign State Of Oklahom...
Last year I decided to read Tale of Two Cities again. We were forced, nearly at gun point to read it in HS and I truly despised it. So I decided that perhaps viewed through the window of time, that it would have deeper meaning and that I would better enjoy the lyric that is Dickens' writing....
Nope, still hate that book. laugh

Currently reading Life of Pi, anxiously awaiting the new Kim Harrison and JR Ward. grin

I picked up the first book a while back but only got a couple chapters in. It just didn't hold my attention.

That's my plan for the part of March between Frost Burned and Lover at Last. wink

My anticipated release lineup is:
1/22 - Kim Harrison, Ever After
3/5 - Patricia Briggs, Frost Burned
3/26 - JR Ward, Lover at Last
3/26 - Carrie Vaughn, Kitty Rocks the House

I downloaded a few book for Morgan the other day and I grabbed a freebie for myself - The Secret Garden.

I am also reading a horror novel I found when I moved. smile

Reading is really not my "thing" so this is big for me and part of my 2013 goals. smile
