Depends, what am I cooking??

I like microwaves too, but with cookware I go non-stick since I'm lazy. Still some things that cast iron will always win on though.

For the most part, she just wares her usual clothes.

I like my anodized aluminum cookware (Calphalon) on my new gas stove. While I do not have any stainless I intend to get at least one stainless pot. I've been told that's the go-to for cooking things like pasta (lots of water).

I'm with Matt_B on this. The ceramic dutch oven is great for soups/stews, the cast iron has been wonderful for frying, and the stainless steel covers so many bases. I tend to avoid using non-stick.

I am with Skittles, love my Calphalon.

Definately depends on what I'm cooking. Fried chicken, porkchops and the like are always best in the iron skillet.
Any other foods I fry in stainless steel.

Depends! I love to grill! But that doesnt work well for things like, oh...eggs. They just fall through to the coals.

Stainless steel is what I have that gets used most often. Gave up on non-stick treated - they don't last. You can scrub stainless to your hearts content. They last a long time.

Has anyone used one of the ceramic "non-stick" skillets? I've been curious, and am getting frustrated with traditional non-stick.
