YORK, Pa. (AP) — Mourners at a Pennsylvania fast-food fan's funeral wanted him to have it his way, so they arranged for his hearse — and the rest of the procession — to make one last drive-thru visit before reaching the cemetery. David Kime Jr. "lived by his own rules," daughter Linda Phiel said. He considered the lettuce on a burger his version of healthy eating, she said. http://news.yahoo.com/pa-man-gets-drive-thru-send-off-funeral-231647044.html

We have already told my dad that we have his casket delivered at the very end of the funeral. He has never been on time for anything in his life.

People were sending me links to a bacon coffin some time back. But I'm being cremated so I won't have a need for that. I like the idea of going through a drive through during my funeral.

I have expressed my desires to have my body donated to science. Maybe they can figure out what went wrong....?

Cremation for me too, and ashes to the ocean. I can't stand the thought of any part of me being landlocked for eternity.

My father made the statement last time I was up visiting (he's 91) that he wants to be cremated. My mother and sister don't like that idea. While it's not my favorite, it's what he wants - although I did tell him I wasn't putting his ashes on the mantle with the dogs' ashes. He wants us to keep a small amount separate to put in the casket with my mother if he goes first.

I'm going for cremation, too, but I'm not sure of the legalities of scattering ashes. I guess if no one gets caught...
I wouldn't mind having my ashes scattered here and there in places that have been meaningful to me, but that's probably asking a lot.

have no qualms about cremation, donation, burial, or throwing me in a wood chipper...whatever is cheapest and makes people happy (just hope if they choose the wood chipper option that they really have confirmed i'm dead and that i haven't succumbed to some Haitian voodoo ritual that renders one in a trance like death state)

I would think that Mrs, Gilmore will opt for the most expensive option as she enjoys her shopping
FWIW
Voodoo curses do not work on banking employees I had one years ago. Wait a second I am still in banking it does work.
