Been away from the thread for a while, so I was glad to see Dani inquiring and kinda prompted me to get back into the thread. Congrats Dani! I'm down 7 lbs, but more importantly, recently purchased pants for the expanding waistline are now too big! I'm pretty much in the routine now of running 4 days per week and bodypump class 2 days per week. I slacked off Saturday and Sunday (had a Sunday Funday) so now I feel blobish. Good news for weight loss is the wife and I agreed to give up beer for Lent (  I know)...this might be the hardest Lent I've ever had...but should do wonders for the waistline and geting me ready for the 10k in April.

Mani--I totally feel like that. I was very surprised I had lost weight over the last week+. Was definitely from my new food habits.
Skittles--Drink lots of water and stretch today!

PR - I ordered the cinnamon capsules on Saturday. I'm hoping they help curb my cravings for sweets or pretzels, although I've been pretty good about avoiding too many snacks for the most part.

PR can fill you in more than I can. They apparently regulate your blood sugar and I may not crave sweets or bready snacks much any more. That's what I'm hoping anyway. There is a link (may be in the Weight Watcher thread) to a website to purchase these - that's what I used to order. It was $15.00 for a two month supply (you take two twice a day) plus shipping of $9.00. I figured I could spend $24.00 on myself.

I'm giving them a try because I'm a sugar freak. I did notice that when I burp it's cinnamon flavored.

I'm not a cinnamon fan, so burping it all day would be an issue. Do you take it with food? If so, have you tried refrigerating them and taking it cold? That works with some things (fish oil for instance).

In the old west (and still a few places today) cinniamon rolls, donuts and fritters were referred to as "bear sign", because they looked like bear poop. True Story....

Reminds me of a popular song on the Dr. Demento Show: Moose Turd Pie I got it down there and leaned it up against the side and I climbed up in the cook car, and I baked a [censored] of a big pie shell. And I baked that moose turd in as slick as you please. And I cribbed it with my thumbs, and laid strips of dough across it, & garnished it with a sprig of parsley, a little paprika. It was beautiful; poetry on a plate.
And I served it up for dessert, waiting for the first hint of a complaint. Well, this giant dude comes in, about 5 foot 40; I mean he was big. Throwed himself down like a fool on a stool. Picked up his fork. Took a big bite of that moose turd pie. Well, he threw down his fork, and he let out a bellow, and he yelled..
"My God! That's Moose Turd Pie! ... It's Good, Though!"

I got the cinnamon capsules yesterday and started taking them. Hopefully they will keep me out fo the wonderful cookies my husband baked on Saturday. I've fallen off of the wagon for the last 4-5 days, but today I'm back on <hopefully>.
