How soon can you refinance a real estate loan from the purchase of the real estate?

If it's a HOEPA or HPML there are limitations on refinancing within the first 12 months unless the refinancing has beneficial affects for the consumer. You'll want to review 1026.32 and .35.

Dan, I know the restriction you mention on HOEPA is found in .34...but where is that restriction found in .35??
