It's definitely like Acheron's book only from Styxx's side and you get an entirely different picture. Again, I'm not that far, but without any spoilers, it certainly makes the things that happened to Acheron look mild. It's actually pretty hard to read some of it, I think the point could have easily been made without so much of the description of some of things.

It's actually pretty hard to read some of it, I think the point could have easily been made without so much of the description of some of things. I thought Acheron was a tough read. Styxx makes me cry just as much. His life was no picnic. I read Ash's book when it first came out, in hard cover. Big, heavy book to lug around. Anyway, I want to go back and read it again just to see the other side. It is funny how different perceptions can be. This one is gonna take a little while, though.

I had to put Styxx down at around 27%. It's almost too much. I'm going to have to read this book in small doses I think.

Ok, I am so glad that others are having trouble with this. Yes, I didn't pick it up all weekend because I didn't want to be depressed! Lol. Now that I'm at work today and depressed by the simple fact that the weekend's over, I'll probably read some at lunch.
