Is this a required policy?

Does anyone have a copy that they would be willing to share?

Few policies are technically required by law/reg. But that doesn't mean you do or don't need one based on your activity. You certainly shouldn't be cited for not having one. If so, ask for a cite. Otherwise, your need would be based on your activities.

I am also in need of this. We've been cited for it in our last couple of audits and they mentioned it in our last exam, but I've been unable to find a sample. I dread the thought of having to write one from scratch. frown Please PM me if you'd be willing to share. Thank you!!

How can you be cited in an audit? Do you mean your auditor thought it would be a good idea to have such a policy? Auditors are not examiners. Auditors are advisors who sometimes miss the mark. Did they provide you with a citation mandating this? How about did they provide any input as to what should be in such a policy? Just because an auditor recommends something doesn't mean you can't push back and show that they're ....wait for it....wrong!

We were also cited for it in a visitation by our examiners. They gave no guidance as to what it should contain except "everything that pertains to your secondary market program". Ugg.
