I am trying to put together my first quarter 2004 CRA analysis and for some reason CRA Wiz still uses a 4 digit field for MSA. I've downloaded version 5.0b and service pack 1. Still, none of my lines will code right. Anyone else having problems with this? Have a handy fix? (I am importing a LAR from Excel.)
I have tried to call PCi but their number has been busy all morning.

We use 6.0 so it may be different. My reports person said that she had to be sure to select 2004 data and then it switched to the new MSA numbers.

It is using the new numbers, just dropping the end zero off.

Thanks KC - I finally heard from PCi and they explained that Wiz adds the zero.

Using the code for Los Angeles, 31084, is PCi adding a zero, making 6 digits?

Or is it dropping the last digit for codes which actually end in a Zero, making what appears to be a 4-digit code?

Anon - no, I do not think Wiz will add a zero in that case.

Have you downloaded the latest patch for 2004 reports?

2004 reports, that is another issue. I went to run reports Monday and discovered I could not do them. Called PCi and they said the patch would be out Wednesday 4/21 and no later than 4/23. Guess you already have it. I'll go check their website since I have not received any email about the patch.
