I know I have seen this out here before but can't seem to find the discussion....

When responding to rate requests, can we use APY or do we have to use the full term "Annual Percentage Yield"

Thanks

1030.8(b) http://www.bankersonline.com/regs/12-1030/12-1030-008.html deals with advertising.

1030.3(e) http://www.bankersonline.com/regs/12-1030/12-1030-003.html deals with oral inquiries. It uses the term here, not the abbreviation. It does say in the OSC that advertising rules don't apply, but if I were writing the script, I would use the words before I used the abbreviation and move on to other things.
