Our current Online Banking Agreement states that "if you have not accessed the System for a period of 120 calendar days or longer" we will terminate your access to the system. We do this for security reasons; however, we currently have no way, short of manual entry the day before the termination, to inform the customer of this.

I'm curious as to what other banks are doing for their customers who haven't signed into their online banking program for a longer period of time. Any information could be helpful. Thanks!

We have a similar deactivation of the internet banking and it is included in our Internet Banking Agreement. Ours is 90 days of no use and we can place the user in an "inactive state". they are directed to contact the bank if this happens.

We terminate online banking for users who have not logged in within 180 days. At 150 days an email is sent to the user warning them that it will be terminated if not used within the next 30 days.
