Oh I forgot a few. Motley Crue, Poison, or any of those hair bands that it was more about being in a band than it was about the music.

This is precisely why they are grossly over-rated. They changed the game from actually writing good songs and playing music to fire and blood. I get why people like the live shows with the theatrics, but the music is just awful. Shock-rock never appealed to me. Which is why I also can't stomach Alice Cooper.

Not a band, but Beyonce is the most overrated performer in America IMO. Nice-looking, seems like a nice lady.....sings awful songs.
