Some consumer agreements have Waiver of Jury Trial. As of 06/01, will this be prohibited under the prohibition against waiver of statutory causes of action? I think our forms vendor should remove this verbiage. Thanks for your assistance!

I've been wondering the same thing. We have a "Waiver of Borrower's Rights" and Im wondering if it should go away.

Hmmm so that article says that the waive of jury trial language is okay to keep in... we were going to take it out just as a precaution.

From the CFPB's rule- "In response to the comments, the Bureau does not interpret TILA section 129C(e)(3) to
limit waivers of rights to a jury trial because bench trials are judicial procedures, not nonjudicial
procedures."
