Time to update the web site (and stand-alone memo) versions of the Mission Statement. Because the Mission Statement only mentions them as divisions 'we also offer' within the company (e.g., Trust Services, Investment Services), I've seen mixed responses to omitting the standard 'not, not, may' for life insurance and investments as no product is mentioned for either.

But if (in the same paragraph) you mention a 'full range of deposit products' including the cool 'internet & phone apps,' you'd need an FDIC sign. And if you say you offered Rez Mortgage Services, you'd need the doghouse & EHL. But it's a No-No to mix FDIC with non-FDIC on the same page. So it looks like my only path is to use more general language to avoid ANY of the disclaimers!
