Just saw this thread: I have lots of things i enjoy, some of them passions, but not all of them are things that readily equate to a job. I like my job, some days more than others, and i like compliance, some days more than others. My happiness is most tied to things outside of work, so for me, both things are important, and no, i wouldn't want to work at a job i hate for more money, BUT i work to live, not vice versa. Even a job i LOVED would be hard for me to stick with if the pay stunk.

Work to live, not live to work...yup, ditto raitchjay.
It helps that most days I like my job and the people I work with.
It also helps that I feel fairly competent at what I'm doing...most days.
But I like OKC, I've been told I'm a good cook and I know a guy that repairs golf clubs (and glocks). So if you're going for Gaillardia, I'd be willing to run the club house kitchen while my hubby runs the pro shop/gun repair shop.

That's an efficient repair shop if you can get your 9-iron and 9mm fixed.

Yep, the show was Alice and the character was Flo. For some reason Flo comes to mind whenever I am interacting with Southern females...not sure why that is.
