Husband and wife apply to purchase a new home. Loan is approved and was clear to close. They came in and stated they have decided to get a divorce and would like to remove wife from application as husband will now be purchasing this home as his primary residence. Husband qualifies for the loan in his name only. Do we need to redisclose and wait another 7 days before we can close? I don't think we would have a waiting period even if redisclosure was required since we are treating this as the same application.
