Shemp inspired me to start this thread. Any particular city you don't like?

I am not a fan of Buffalo.

Made a wrong turn in Buffalo once while going to Niagra Falls, didn't take long to determine I was in a "bad" area and did a u-turn out of there.

I have already expressed how I feel about Detroit sick

I've been to Buffalo. I didn't take a wrong turn so I didn't get to see a bad area. I wasn't too taken by the city of Niagra Falls away from the falls themselves. I really didn't like Brooklyn either. Got lost there and took almost two hours to get out. This is pre-GPS. I did have the cleanest windshield in Brooklyn. Every time I stopped for a red light some guy would jump out and clean my windshield. Thank goodness I had a lot of ones on me that day.

I could name a few but I am not sure how large the city has to be to qualify.

Probably Cleveland.

I was visiting Niagra Falls as well in my one jaunt thru Buffalo. Got gas there at a convenience store very reminiscent of the store on the Simpsons.

Eastern Colorado is very much an anti-city (urban area), but it gets neglected when mentioning desolate, lonely places. Western Kansas, a popular place to mention when speaking of flat, deserted places has nothing on Eastern Colorado.

I haven't been to all that many places, but for where I HAVE been, my vote would be:

Jackson Mississippi.

That's why they built that big ol' high speed loop around it. So we could all give it a wide berth. smile

Indianapolis was one city I couldn't wait to get out of. We were going to spend a 3-day weekend but I begged to leave after one night.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
I really just can't think of any city that I really just don't want to return for a visit. Most places have both good and bad things to like or dislike.

Bacon - we used to go to Indianapolis for a few days when my son was little. There was lots to do there that was family friendly.

Went to Seattle last year. It was fine, but we're in no rush to go back. Can't exactly explain why.

Really, or were you once a backup singer for Charlie Daniels?

Guess I forgot about Chicago. Chicago is by far the worst. Worst people, worst layout, worst weather, worst politics, worst everything. Totally forgot about Chicago. Chicago takes the cake.

Ha ha yeah. More cattle than people. Besides you are from Iowa. Iowa has a little bit of football envy. smile

Bobby, i know your post was football-inspired, but that reminds me.....i've always wanted to go to Oxford, Mississippi (any place in Mississippi for that matter....my dad's family traces its roots there). Oxford just seems like a cool place.

It is a tough call between Chicago and Madison WI for poorest layout for roads and streets. It is like to designed it that way to create traffic jams rather than minimize them.
