Why do families and communities allow people with apparently documented mental illnesses access to weapons?
Societies that do not find work in and of itself "pleasing to God and requisite to Man," tend to be highly corrupt.

Because the system is broken. As the parent of a child with mental health special needs I can say that the system allows many things that I personally would not.

Very sad. Our bank had a robbery several months ago. We never thought it would happen in our little old town. Ours was quiet, no one knew until he left. After another robbery in a neighboring town, he was headed south and ended up killing himself in Georgia as he was surrounded by police. A sad ending as well.
