What is your favorite season/time of year and why?

Fall-pro football and cool weather.

Spring - I love seeing everything come back to life. My husband's is fall - he loves the colors.

Fall and Spring. I love moderate temperatures.

I get Fall Fever worse than Spring Fever...and unfortunately down here, we often don't really 'get' actual seasons...but I'd have to say:

Fall, then Spring.

Fall, because I'm totally burned out from Summer heat/humidity and grounds upkeep.

Spring, because I'm ready for warmer weather again.

Joker - when we lived in Georgia my husband would say that there were four seasons. Three of hot and one of not-so-hot.

My second favorite season is Spring. Once again, cool weather, and flowers coming up showing the resurgence of life and pointing towards the remembrance of our savior rising from the dead.

Not to completely wuss out on the question, but all of them! I love running in the heat of summer, I like riding my motorcycle in fall with the cooler temps and color changes. I love snow fall and skiing in winter. And I love the green up in spring. Sometimes it sux not to be me.

I'm a spring/fall person, like the moderate temps. Right now we're having perfect weather, highs in the mid-70's, low 50's overnight. It's just perfect for everything.

When I lived up North, fall was my favorite because the mums were blooming, pumpkins, scarecrows and straw bales were decorating yards, and the leaves were beautiful. Now, down south, it means tarantula season.

Winter is my favorite time now because I can go hiking with a lessened threat of snakes/spiders.

I love fall....... When I lived in FL - tourists were gone - we had the beach to ourselves. Still go walking on the beach in the fall when I go visit my parents. love to go to the mountains - see the foliage and experience the cooler weather.

Up north: Late spring (after all the rain)/all summer (freedom to go outside, celebrating the 4th of July, no jackets, and just reliving those feelings of being a kid) and then fall (love the crisp fall air, changing leaves, pumpkins, etc. - NOTHING BETTER)

Down south: Spring (after the touristas have left and before summer rains start), Fall (after the hurricanes (mostly) and before the touristas come back)

I used to love winter... until I got huskies. Now I spend more time outside when there's snow on the ground than when it's 75 and sunny.

Every morning I wake up and can get out of bed is my favorite time of the year.

I like fall because of the cooler temps, football season and baseball is getting down to the playoffs/world series.

It's too bad that in So Cal the seasons are drought, fire, "Storm Watch 20xx" (0.5" of rain), and mudslides.

It always seems like I want the next season to come. Maybe I just like the change of seasons.

My favorite is fall....love the cooler temps, FOOTBALL!!!, Fall decorations, changing colors. Looking forward to date nights with my new husband sitting at our firepit this fall. The hot, dry weather has prevented it this summer and we really like sitting out there for inexpensive date nights. Gives us a chance to talk. The kids like to roast marshmallows and hot dogs out there when they are at home too. Great family time!

Second favorite is spring...around here it is absolutely beautiful with the hills covered in green grass and flowers.

Early fall...Football, Squirrel, Rabbit, deer seasons.

I can't believe more people didn't say Summer. Long days, outside activities, vacations, picnics, baseball, no helping the kids with their homework. Even though I don't like winter, I'm glad I don't live where it's too hot to enjoy summer.

I'm with you GoBucs! I am sad that summer is coming to an end! I love hot weather as long as the humidity isn't too bad. I guess my second favorite is fall because that is when I met my husband. We were in college and makes me think of those early fall afternoons being carefree when we both got out of class. Those were the days!
