It's much better than Hunger Games!

To be fair, I didn't read any of those books, but I'm still confident.

I'm currently re-reading The Maze Runner trilogy. So far the casting for the movie is pretty good!

If so, it's the worst cookbook ever.

Last time I was at one of the used book stores, they had Hunger Games inspired cookbooks, I had to laugh but didn't bother to open it.

Just finished listening to "Outpost" by Ann Aguirre. Two thumbs way up. Definitely a good story and I'm looking forward to the 3rd book coming out in October (that's also when the 3rd Insurgent book is coming out, too.)

Also just discovered there's a novella to go with Enclave & Outpost that tells the story of Thimble & Stone. Hopefully she'll merge their stories with Deuce & Fade at some point.

Almost finished with The Imortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks. Non-fiction about how the woman's cancer cells were used/sold, etc. without her or her family's permission. Her cells, HeLa, used to test/develop cures, etc. Gives a wonderful perspective of the medical community during the 50s and on, esp. as regards the treatment of non-whites. Book deals with the ethical issues and the impact on her family as well as the positive things that came out of using her cells. Highly recommended for those who need a break from fiction.

Hey Erica, I'm listening to the 2nd book in the Pure trilogy now - it is good! Unlike most books, they have actually got multiple voice talents so it's like listening to a radio show. Plus the story is good.

Just finished Outpost yesterday. It's a good book. There were some parts were I was so engaged I almost missed my train stops. Super excited about the 3rd Insurgent.

I told you you'd like Outpost! The ending made me cry.

OMG! I can't believe I messed up the title.

I finished Enclave over lunch. Thanks, EGB for the recommendation. There were a few parts that annoyed me (editing issues, like using the wrong character's name for one exhiled) but I really enjoyed it. At the end is an Exceprt from Endurance, the story of Stone and Thimble.

I've read several of the "Mitch Rapp" series by Vince Flynn in the last few months. If you're waiting for the next "Jack Reacher" book to come out, they will help you pass the time. Order in terms of story line.

My son had to read this book his 1st year in college. He found it interesting, as well as disturbing.

What's the first title in this series? I'm having trouble making Amazon's mobile app tell me. smirk
