which authors, the SI or Deadspin ones? SI - Thayer Evans He is a joke. Why SI still pays him is beyond me. Well, not really, he doesn't care about facts so he writes hit pieces that generate a ton of page views.

I think the key to the game will be to score as many points as possible while simultaneously preventing the other team from doing the same thing.
Hey! I may have future in this sports announcer thingamajig!

it all comes down to this...one team will lose, one team will win, the losing team's supporters will postulate all the reasons they were robbed of the game by officials, bad calls, bad luck, the sun coming out from behind a cloud just as the touchdown pass was floated to the open receiver that was then momentarily blinded, stadium too loud, stadium to quiet, bad coaching decision, poor clock management, and hundreds of other reasons. The winnning team's fans will counter every argument as to why none of the arguments matter. in the end, the result will not change, all the chatter will be for naught...

Now that that is out of the way, who do you think will win the NCAA sanctioned football game played on Saturday Sept 14, 2013 between Texas A&M and Alabama? And by what score?

The ad agencies that produced the TV commercials and the brokers that sold them. The score will be millions

Don't miss midnight yell practice tonight. If you can't make it to town, it will be on ESPN 3.

I thought it was on The Ocho, sandwiched between qualifiers of the ADBAA (American Dodge Ball Association of America) regional qualifiers...

You're living in yesteryear, Pale. I know, but it has been fun! I am ready for the ESPN crowd to leave town and take all these insane people with them!

The stands at Kyle Field will really be swayin' tomorrow! And the non-sensical voodoo hand signs will be waving.

Wow, crickets in here today. My thoughts on the games this weekend. Not a lot of defense in the Bama-aTm game, I don't know where the SEC and PAC-10 get their officials, defending Manziel looks like it has to be really frustrating, Wisconson got robbed of at least a chance of winning their game, Michigan looked bad against Akron, Ohio State has a great backup QB but the defense could be suspect, Notre Dame and Purdue turned out to be an interesting game, Nebraska got spanked after opening a big lead, and South Carolina has a good offense but the defense still needs some work.

Why wasn't the Wisconsin QB's "kneel-down" called a fumble? From what i saw, he never actually touched a knee down.....just sat the ball on the ground.
Mack Brown is history (he'll be the A.D. i'm sure when Dodds steps down.....soon it sounds like).
Blake Bell at QB looked great...if that's indicative of the QB play OU will have this year, then with the running game and defense we've shown, the year looks very promising.
