 I was just thinking about this and ::BOOM!:: there's your post! Caught a F&G marathon the last time I was home sick for a couple days. Loved it even though I rarely watched when it was first on. I only remember watching it a couple of times when it was actually on network TV. I remember catching up on it in re-runs on cable. I could relate - I was that age during the time that the show was set.

Point Pleasant I think I was literally the only human on the planet that tuned in to the five or six episodes that aired before it was cancelled mid-season.

I second Monk, Pushing Daisies, and Firefly. Also, (especially if you liked Pushing Daisies,) Wonderfalls. Same Whedon-esque team, same Fox schedule & advertising [censored]-treatment. I don't think it made it past 3 or 4 episodes...
I don't remember who mentioned Will & Grace, but does anyone remember Ned and Stacey? That show cracked me up.
