I think this is the correct forum to ask this question

A situation came up this morning and I need your opinion, we have a checking account that has five people as signers on the account. One person name has been mispelled (one letter wrong). The other four signature spellings is correct. Can we not change the signature card and have the customer sign the card correctly. Should we get a new signature card. Can we cross out he incorrect letter and write he correct letter and have the customer initial. The one that is misspelled is the one signs most of the checks.

Thanks for your help.

For such obvious, and simple mistakes, we would cross out the incorrect letter, write the correct letter and have the custome initial, since presumably she signed it correctly in the first place.
