All ya'll need to just chillax and let it go. Life is too short to get so worked up over another's destruction of proper grammar and language.

Folks in Texas and the rest of the south have never understood the "h" in vehicle is silent.

My grandma pronouces "argue".. arg-ee.

It's actually really cute and my grandma so I don't let it bother me.

My husband gets on to me that I say "crown" when I mean "crayon". It drives him nuts, but I don't like to arg-ee about it.

Living in Texas, I have heard several of these mispronunciations & more! Quite a few people around here shop at "the Walmarts" and are "fixin'a" do something.

What really irritates me is when people draw simple words out! Dayown (down) or payunts (pants)...grr!!! This is Texas and we do speak a little slower than most, but come on ya'll! One syllable, not two!!! crazy

Well if you drop the RE and say few he oh, real fast, you can kind of see how it came to be. I am not defending it, just saying I can somewhat see how it came to pass.

Excuse me?
I live in the land of Mazomanee, Oconomowoc, Minoqua, Prarie du Chien, Shawano and Manitowoc.
I'm told I can handle Chickasha, etc., just fine.
