I'd like to know what, if any, topics you provide training on for your Board of Directors. Do you do this annually?

I know this topic has been discussed before but my searches only resulted in Andy Z's post below.

What are you doing?

We include in our annual training for BOD the following:

Reg CC
BSA/AML/OFAC
CIP
Robbery Procedures
Information Security
Identity Theft Prevention Program
Bank Protection Act
Suspicious Activity Reports
Clean Desk Policy
Opening/Closing Procedures

Then periodically throughout the year we hit on other items

I do Board Training every quarter. I do a "mini training" on every policy that is up for approval (one page powerpoint). I also do full-blown Board training on BSA, Privacy, Code of Ethics, Red Flags, Reg. O., Information Security and Fair Lending.

Anyone out there doing a Fair Lending training or heard of one being done annually? Keep them coming folks. This is going to help some poor sap one day.

I've been doing FL training with the board annually for a few years now. I blend it with CRA.

Every year the Board here gets training on BSA, ID Theft/Red Flags, Fair Lending and GLBA. 4th quarter of every year I choose 2-3 other regulations and train on those. Two years ago was HMDA, Flood, Respa and TILA. Last year was Reg CC, DD and E. This year it was SCRA, ECOA and FCRA.
