We just hired a new loan officer that came from another bank. His former bank terminated his NMLS registration with them. He is in training and will not be originating mortgage loans for a few weeks. Do I have to go ahead now and get him on our registration or can I wait until after Nov. 1 and just put him on then when all the others are renewed?

As long as you do it before he acts as a MLO, that is all that is required.
