Woodstove, old mobile home. On a cold night, we'll try to get it pumped up to around 75 before going to bed, and it can fall to as low as 50 by morning. I love country living!

65 in the day/evening, but we'll probably kick it down to 62 soon. Then we set it for 58 when sleeping. 58 when we're not home, also. We use sweatshirts and blankets to survive and an electric blanket at night.
It dropped into the 20s last night, and we woke up to snow-covered roofs, though the ground is still too warm for anything to stick. It was quite a shock to walk out the door this morning. I'm ready for Spring.

Several years back we put in geothermal heating. This was after years of paying huge propane bills. Back then, it was always cold in the house. Now, I generally keep it at 72-74 when we are home, and 70 in the summer, sometimes lower. Average bills between summer and winter run around $110.00. I love it.

This is the time of year when we alternate between the fans blasting away and the A/C going. The A/C is on right now, but we are getting down to near freezing tonight.

If it's less than 70 outside, our heat is set at 69. If it's more than 75 outside, our a/c is set at 74. Between 70-75 outside, nothing on in the house and windows are open. Sorry. I get cold easily.

If I could find a way to prevent the wife from changing it, it would be 60 in the winter and 80 in the summer. However, it usually ends up around 68 in winter and 75 in summer.

If it drops below 64 inside, I'll turn it on to 66. Nothing at night, that's what blankets are for!! I've only had my heater on twice so far this year. Oh, and I ran the A/C once last summer, on the day I was moving into the house. I don't like to spend my money paying utility bills!!

Summer - 75 Winter - 70
All day and night, I don't do well cold. Ex father in law was in the HVAC industry for years and was very against having the temps adjust day and night. Said it didn't save anything and was very hard on heat and air units.

Interesting Jen, I wondered about that.
Mine only differs by one degree from day to night (heating and cooling) but I wonder if that really does anything, if it's even worth it.
The one nice thing I do have is a thermostat that switches over from heat to cool without setting a switch. That's sometimes needed in WI during the beginning of Fall/end of Spring
