Jen, Memphis is forecast to get .5 inches of ice today. Marathon may be postponed. I would make sure before I headed out. I am in East TN. Thankfully, ice is supposed to stop just West of us. Our Temp today is 72 but high on Saturday is 47.

It was 23 when I was getting ready for work this morning but is showing 19 now.

At noon it was 80. We are having record highs in Florida and there is horrible winter weather up north. I'm not getting it...

I don't really get bothered by the cold until it's dropping down into the single digits. But add snow/sleet/ice onto any temperature, and things get wacky on the roads around here.

It's official...we broke the old record.

High for today is 79 but may end up being in the low 80s... We may break the record today - We will see. Tomorrow's high will be 58 and Sunday's will be 38. Then Monday, it will be 62.

No wonder why I am sick.

12 below on the way to work ... I brought the kids ot the bus stop this morning and ended up with 5 kids sitting in my truck to warm up while the bus came. (yeah, I'm in northern MN also)

-10 here in NW Iowa with the wind chill at -20. We have new neighbors on our block that were not prepared.

Stay warm everyone! It was 10 this morning. Had to put on two pairs of pants in order to stay warm while walking the dogs. I usually don't do that until it snows, but the wind was sharp!!

I was just thinking of you Mani! We have about 6-7 inches of snow already and it's still snowing. I was walking the upstairs catwalk to the kitchen and saw a VERY happy husky running around in the bank parking lot! Our customer was trying to coax it back into their Jeep but the snow was just too much fun for the fur ball to resist!

HAHA! Yes. Snow is like catnip for huskies.

79 when we went to lunch today. Perfect day to sit outside and eat.

It's up to a nice 19 degrees right now. Glad I work inside!

26. My kids were all excited to get outside and build a snowman - yeah, that lasted less than 10 minutes. (Plus it is icy and not really suitable material for a snowman.)
