We are revamping our record retention schedule for our Retail Department.

*"Cashier's Checks (after paid)/Logs"-record retention period of 6 years- What exactly do they mean/what are we supposed to be keeping for this?

*Change of Address forms - For accounts that are still opened but the change of address form is no longer valid. Is there a certain amount of time these need to be kept?

We keep change of address forms for one year.

Not sure about the cashier's checks logs.

Per BSA - A bank must collect and retain information on any sale of a bank check, draft, cashier's check, money order, or traveler's check from $3,000.00 to $10,000.00 inclusively. This is your log. The act does not require any particular form of log, you may collect and retain the information in any format the bank chooses. The record retention for the log(s) is 5 years.
