I think it's dangerous when people do this. What if one of the cars changes lanes? Eek.

Do you drive in Chicago?

Until they do just that and pull out into the first lane, then the next car pulls out immediately behind them, and honks as they attempt to change lanes, or better yet, pulls around them because they didn't change lanes quite fast enough.

Every city in every state has their own share of bad drivers, the only thing that is variable is what the common bad driving "skill" is most common. If you ever drive in Dallas, you better be prepared to drive at least 80 mph on almost major highway, traffic permitting. If you drive in Orlando, you need to be prepared for people that don't know where the heck they are going, they will drive slower and turn their turn signal on, then off, drive a little further, turn the signal on again, hit the brakes and block the street, to make sure they are turning in the right entrance.

I guess then it is ok to break the law.

So basically they should not do it because being a bad driver is ok. If they are doing all of this so slowly that they are being inconsiderate of the other drivers around them, then this is exactly what I am talking about. The first driver can keep on inconveniencing everyone else around them then. Because their time is more valuable than every other person's on the road.

roundabouts a/k/a traffic circles...your tax dollars at work putting others to work to drive you crazy on your way to and from the work where you earn those tax dollars. talk about a catch 22.

I love the people who have determined that yield means stop. One of these days I'm going to rearend the idiot who fully stops at the entrance to the totally empty roundabout. Then I get the single finger salute when I lean on my horn to get them to move. Great way to start and end the day.

I see a lot of mad dashes through the yellow light-at one particular exit off the turnpike I consistently see cars blatantly blowing off the red light.

you know, i used to also blow the horn for issues like this, but if you think about it, you may be delayed by all of 5 seconds as they figure it out...no really worth working myself into a tizzy, i just take a deep breath and grin...

and as we've added more roundabouts, people are starting to slowly figure them out...

Keeping with the misogynistic spirit of this thread, are the majority women?

Lost in a regulatory fog
We just had a road rage death. Guy got shot after getting out of his car and approaching the car behind him at a red light. I don't know all the details so "approaching" may not be the best description.

Anyway, I'm trying my best to ignore all the idiot drivers cause there are way too many stupid people with guns.
