It really bothers me when a person is turning into a street, but has to wait until both lanes are clear so they can go into the far the lane. Just go into the first lane and move into your desired lane when you get a chance. I think it's dangerous when people do this. What if one of the cars changes lanes? Eek. Do you drive in Chicago? I do not mean the person has to hit the lane the exact time the car in the other lane is coming. You can wait until the other car could avoid something. For the car turning onto the street it is actually against traffic laws to go over to the far lane (or second lane). You are supposed to go into the first lane available. Until they do just that and pull out into the first lane, then the next car pulls out immediately behind them, and honks as they attempt to change lanes, or better yet, pulls around them because they didn't change lanes quite fast enough. Every city in every state has their own share of bad drivers, the only thing that is variable is what the common bad driving "skill" is most common. If you ever drive in Dallas, you better be prepared to drive at least 80 mph on almost major highway, traffic permitting. If you drive in Orlando, you need to be prepared for people that don't know where the heck they are going, they will drive slower and turn their turn signal on, then off, drive a little further, turn the signal on again, hit the brakes and block the street, to make sure they are turning in the right entrance.

Until they do just that and pull out into the first lane, then the next car pulls out immediately behind them, and honks as they attempt to change lanes, I guess then it is ok to break the law. or better yet, pulls around them because they didn't change lanes quite fast enough. So basically they should not do it because being a bad driver is ok. If they are doing all of this so slowly that they are being inconsiderate of the other drivers around them, then this is exactly what I am talking about. The first driver can keep on inconveniencing everyone else around them then. Because their time is more valuable than every other person's on the road.

I see a lot of mad dashes through the yellow light-at one particular exit off the turnpike I consistently see cars blatantly blowing off the red light.

Pulling people out of the ditc...

. Then I get the single finger salute when I lean on my horn to get them to move. Great way to start and end the day. you know, i used to also blow the horn for issues like this, but if you think about it, you may be delayed by all of 5 seconds as they figure it out...no really worth working myself into a tizzy, i just take a deep breath and grin... and as we've added more roundabouts, people are starting to slowly figure them out...
