I'm halfway through Sycamore Row by John Grisham. Pretty good so far.

I got caught up on the Stephanie Plum series on my road trip. Read 18, 19 and 20.

I finished the last 3 of Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series last night. This morning I started the new Jane Yellowrock by Faith Hunter.

Finished "Secret Rescue", about a plane disaster, and started "A Storm Too Soon", which is about a sailing disaster.

I forgot all about those! I'm way behind on that series. New reading material. Woot!

Death at Seaworld was brought to my attention after I watched the documentary, Blackfish. (Available on Netflix)

This is a fascinating, compelling story and, rather than waste words, I'll suggest you watch the Blackfish trailer.

P.S. Neither the book nor the documentary is objective; both are impassioned. You will develop an opinion of your own.

I'm trying to read David Baldacci's new book - King & Maxwell - and I just can't get into it.

A gripping story about a dog that has to much fun while awake and does not want to go to sleep.

Countless minutes of reading,

Yeah, I skipped that one. The last K&M book wasn't that great. He does better when he has stand-alone books; his series always seem to be kind of contrived (Camel Club...)

EGB - I do like John Puller and Will Robey, though. When I read about Will Robey I visualize Jim Caviziel from Person of Interest. I might just have to stop reading this one and go on to something else.

One Rough Man - Brad Taylor...(yeah, the title does sound a tad lame, or like a harlequin romance, or worse, but the book is nothing like that...).

Think Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allon, Paul Christopher's "Doc" Holliday, and Steven Berry's Cotton Malone...all rolled into one
